Chipping Sparrow

I'm finding that winter is bringing me many new sparrow varieties! I was excited to identify this Chipping Sparrow taking part of the feast I provide the birds. See his red cap? Now the fellow behind him is harder to identify -- I thought at first he was a Goldfinch in winter feather, but I'm not sure. Any birders here with an idea?
