Singing After the Rain

Loves my suet feeder! He’s been gorging himself for quite awhile this afternoon while his mate sits in the burning bush keeping an eye out for predators. Wild Turkeys On The Road

I often see wild turkeys as I drive down my road, but seem to never have my camera with me! This guy was part of a rather large flock most of which disappeared into the woods. Guess he was chosen to be the goat this time

The cardinals seem to have extra bright plumage this year! They looked particularly scruffy this summer with the hot, dry weather, so guess the cooler, wetter weather we’re having this fall is helping them get rid of their parasites and grow some extra gorgeous feathers!
