Travelin’ Show

  This teeny tiny bud decided to peek out as the weather turns cooler and autumn creeps in. A rose by any size smells as sweet to paraphrase the bard.

My puppy found this in the yard today. Since I don’t know which mushrooms are safe to eat and which aren’t I shooed him away from this, then noticed the creature that wasn’t so shy about it!

Going down my drive the other day, I happened to notice this tree laden with these orange fruits. A bit of Googling and I came up with wild Persimmons. Purportedly when ripe they are delicious, but catching them at their peak of ripeness is somewhat tricky. These are hard and not yet ripe as none [...]

You never think of lilies as producing fruit, but here’s the proof — canna fruit. Even the deer don’t bother the Canna Lilies, so I doubt these are edible, but they are rather interesting to look at – a bit fuzzy and a bit stickery looking.

I don’t know what i  did to make this appear to be double exposed like this — I SWEAR I didn’t do anything I don’t normally do, but here you have it. It’s neat looking in a way — if you cross your eyes or something.
