Wild Turkeys On The Road

I often see wild turkeys as I drive down my road, but seem to never have my camera with me! This guy was part of a rather large flock most of which disappeared into the woods. Guess he was chosen to be the goat this time 😛

Male Cardinal — Look at that Plumage!

The cardinals seem to have extra bright plumage this year! They looked particularly scruffy this summer with the hot, dry weather, so guess the cooler, wetter weather we’re having this fall is helping them get rid of their parasites and grow some extra gorgeous feathers!  

What Happens When You Don’t Use a Tripod

This is what happens when you’re using a very slow shutter speed and no tripod. No matter how still you THINK you’re holding the camera, you’re moving. This was our full moon the other night with just a bit of cloud cover to create the halo.
