Weird Fungi

It looks like a lichen, but it’s huge and in the middle of the yard, not on a tree or in mulch. it’s probably 5″ in diameter. The colors are stunning, don’t you think? I can’t help but wonder if it’s edible…..probably not and I’m not going to try it out, either 😆

Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle is one of those flowers that brings back childhood memories of warm summers and playing tag with my friends. This summer has been so dry that the honeysuckle hasn’t bloomed much, but recent rains have revived it and so we’re getting some early fall blooms from many plants right now.
